THE PROJECT
ABOUT PAINTSESSIONS.COM
A place to paint graffiti online, alongside other people. Find a wall, meet other artists, and share what you make.
THE IDEA BEHIND IT
PAINTSESSIONS.COM started with the idea of a place where people could paint together, see work taking shape, and come back to discover what others had left behind. The shared world brings those painting sessions into your browser, with walls that change as people add their work.
Feedback from the people who paint here helps shape new tools, places to paint, and improvements to the controls. Join our Discord to share ideas and talk about what could work better, or read the latest updates to see what has changed.

HOW IT WORKS
Create a free account and start in the Practice Yard. The interactive tutorial introduces movement, painting, and tools with controls for your computer, phone or tablet. New accounts spend their first painting time in the yard before painting across the public world. You can still explore the other locations.
Try different caps, experiment with lettering or characters, or work on a piece with someone else. Exploring the world, painting in the public room, and publishing your artwork are free.
Use the camera tool to publish a picture of your artwork. It stays on your profile for people to discover, even as the walls change.
Learn more about drawing graffiti online and painting with friends, or read the community rules before joining.

KEEPING IT RUNNING
The servers and image storage have ongoing costs. Supporter purchases help cover those costs and give you extra painting tools, private rooms, and more ways to personalize your profile.
Painting in the public room is free. If you enjoy spending time here and want to help keep it running, take a look at Supporter.
COMMON QUESTIONS
Is it free?
Yes. Painting in the public room and publishing artworks are free. Supporter adds extra tools and private rooms.
Do I need an account or a download?
You need a free account to paint and publish. There is nothing to install: open PAINTSESSIONS.COM in your browser.
Can I paint with friends?
Yes. Join the public room together, or ask a supporter to invite you to their private room. Invited players do not need Supporter access.
How do I keep my artwork?
Use the camera tool to take a picture and publish it. Published artwork stays on your profile even when the original wall changes.
Can someone paint over my work?
Walls are shared and change over time. Painting over something another artist is actively working on is disruptive and against the rules. Give active painters space.
